Orange County is home to both a town and village named Goshen. Its name comes from the Land of Goshen, an area of Eygpt that played a part in the Bible. In 1714, the area saw its first settlement and from there became a town in 1789. Eventually, a half shire town was born in the town. This shire would later become the village of Goshen. Around 1830 a part of this land was taken by Hamptonburgh and in 1845 another part of was given to Chester. This area is home to roughly 13,980 people (5,368 which live in the village) and takes up 43.93 sq mi of Orange County.
While the village is most widely known as the council seat of the Orange County there is also a ton of other things this area has to offer. One such attraction is Goshen’s Historic Track. This harness racing track has been in operation for over 178 years making it the oldest working one in the world! Another attraction that has a lot of people talking is the addition of a new Legoland. The theme park was first proposed in June 2016 and was given the okay to start building in October 2017. This Legoland is estimated to bring in roughly between 1.5 million and 2.5 million people every year. It is planned for a 2020 opening.

We called Master’s because we regularly had mice in our basement. The initial inspection seemed thorough, the technician knowledgeable, and everything was explained. We have been happy with the service so far; it was money well spent. We would definitely use Master’s again.
