Florida is a village in Orange County, New York located in the town of Warwick. Florida is considered the convergence of Routes 17A, 25 and 94 and is a well-known farming area known for vast onion fields, rich with black dirt.
During the 19th century, the village was settled by a surge of Polish immigrants. As of 2000 census, there were 2,571 people, 951 households and 704 families residing in Florida.
